Tor is a free software which helps prevent traffic analysis. While using Tor, outgoing communications are sent along multiple volunteer relays. These relays do not know where your communications are coming from, and the websites you visit do not know your physical address.

Click on the Tor download button at the top, assuming you are using either Windows 8, 7 Vista or XP.
Extract the .exe file and follow the instructions. Once you're done, there is a chance that you can visit sites which would otherwise be blocked.
While using Tor it's recommended that you make sure the URLs which you are visiting begin with https: rather than http:.
